Step 1

You have to click User Preferences that is under the Preferences tab in the File menu.

Step 2

And then click the Basic icon in the User Preferences window again. Under the display option, click on the button that is labeled Default Font. In the Default Font dialog box, choose the default font that you prefer and click on the OK button.
